This is what our Standard Boat looks like. They come very well-equipped for $13,995 including a smaller version of the EZ Loader trailer pictured. We try to keep at least one boat ahead of orders, but give us a call to check on current availability.

Dark Blue with a white bottom like the two above has been our most popular color combination.

This is our favorite new color, Stars and Stripes Blue.(Pictured above.)

The Fisher Cat

It's been only a year since we launched hulls #1 and #2, and we just launched #9 on August 1st. We introduced the Fisher Cat ( 14' 3" x 6'10") in the Spring of 2007. Check it out on it's own page by clicking this link: The Fisher Cat

We build these to order in the Winter only. To assure a Spring delivery we need to receive your order no later than Christmas.

SELECT USED BOATS FOR SALE:

HAVEN 12 1/2 - As you can see from the pictures below, this boat is a beauty. Looks like new, but is about 8 years old. Cedar on oak, plank-on-frame with Reineck bronze hardware and blocks. Very tight hull, could even be trailer-sailed. Comes with nice sails and a galvanized trailer for $24,995. (Compare to around $45,000 for a new boat.)

USED BARNSTABLE CAT BOATS:

They sell as soon as they come in....seriously, they generally last less than a week! Call for availability.

We just shipped two used Barnstable Cat Boats to Italy (along with a new one), but we just got one in.

2007 Navy Blue Barnstable Cat Boat - This is the newest used boat we've ever listed. It's been in the water one summer and only sailed three times. It looks just like this picture of a sistership. It's loaded and was over $15,000 new last year. We are selling it for $13,495. It's like getting a brand new boat at a discount!

BEETLE CATS:

Howard Boats Certified Pre-Owned Beetle Cats

These are boats we have gotten through trades or purchases. We go through them and do a complete deck job, replace or refasten any ribs needed, as well as anything else needing attention. These boats are restored to an "as-new" condition. When we're done they're as close to a new Beetle as one can get in a pre-owned boat.

COLLECTIBLE BEETLE CAT:

This boat is rather famous. Was built in 1969 for Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis and shipped to overseas for John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Caroline Kennedy to sail while in Greece. It returned to Hyannis Port in the 1970's where it has been ever since. The boat is shown in its original colors and with its original name and is in very nice condition. Our Coolest Wooden Boat: The boat that inspired The Fisher Cat. (Below)

We built this boat in 2004. We've basically only used it for shows, so it's like new. It was the design prototype for our 14-foot Fisher Cat. This boat is 12'4" X 6' wide, just like a Beetle Cat, but has different lines, seats, and a bigger cockpit. Most people think it's a bigger boat than it is. It is cedar planked on white oak frames and was exceptionally well-built by master builder, Bill Sauerbrey, and our crew. A truly special boat, looking for a special owner. We will discount it further if we continue to maintain it for the new owner! More boat for less than the cost of a new Beetle. $16,995 (Just Reduced)

NEW MacKenzie 26 - 'TRUANT'(Below)

This boat is truly one-of-a-kind. It is the only NEW MacKenzie in the world. Painstakingly built over the last ten years on the platform of an existing MacKenzie, TRUANT was finished by master builder Bob Wastrom, and features a new Steyr diesel.
